Physical ability Test

1. Sit-Ups: Twenty-eight (28) bent leg sit-ups completed in one (1) minute.

2. Push-Ups: Eighteen (18) conventional straight leg push-ups in one (1) minute.

3. One and one-half (1.5) mile run: Fourteen minutes and 36 seconds (14:36) as the elapsed time to complete the run.

HPD candidates are required to pass a physical ability test before advancing to the written test. We have developed an 8-week training program to help applicants to work out on their own to develop strength and fitness levels that will help them be successful on their fitness test.

It is very important to get a full medical examination and a doctor’s approval before starting any physical activity program. It is recommended that each candidate set goals and adjust the level of this program according to their capabilities.
